this is one of the easiest case to figure out i managed to solved the trick and culprit before it was revealed but yeah im still not good at figuring out motive and evidence lol

I knew something was wrong when he drank the water we could see his life leaving his body, I thought the water washed down the poison but never knew the water was poisoned.

I felt like it was the chef or the guy with the suit

it was obvious, the one who rushes first is usually the killer

i did a tiny bit of digging and found a little trivia via detectiveconanworld dot com/wiki/ZERO_kara_Hajimete : "There are three versions of the opening animation. The first version used for episodes 1000-1001 is composed entirely of footage from Episode 1000. The second version used during The Scarlet Return reairing is composed entirely of animations from opening 35 to 45. The actual version is used from episode 1002 onwards."

Ran's dress, whew, 'chef kiss!' quite lovely. a little pop idol accent with the big bow in back, and the colorization of the top fading and changing lower on the dress. man! whew! great colors!

but the final scene. that one makes me scratch my head and go... huh? what was the storyboarder thinking? Shin's sitting against something and he has his arm around Ran's shoulders and she's leaning into him and their heads are touching at their temples. but suddenly Shin turns into Conan and well... their height difference alone would make that a truly aquward pose for the both of them! when we've seen Ran pick Conan up and hold his head even with hers, his TOES almost dangle around her pelvic region, but definitely lower than her navel. if Conan was SITTING there, Ran's head would be resting ATOP his head and she would be slumped over towards Conan at almost a 90degree angle. now, if Conan was STANDING there next to Ran her head would be LOWER than his head. so what is Conan doing in that pose? slightly squatting/bending his knees to keep their heads at the same level?

unfortunately TMS copped out on making a worthwhile brand-new 1000th and 1001st episodes... they just did a very good job of entirely remaking the Season1 episode 11.

Surprised they remade an old episode when that old verison is still better
